"what can u say about the beautiful places in metro manila?"

If you ask this question, it will lead you to my blog.

I want to answer the question. I don't care whether this was an assignment of some lazy student out to plagiarize someone or if it was asked out of curiosity.

Manila is an experience waiting to happen. It's small enough to make you feel safe and familiar but big enough to present you with new possibilities every day.

You can go to Quiapo regularly and you can still find a novelty item on the street.

If you're out to look for some history, there's Intramuros and UST (hehehe, could not help but promote my alma mater).

If you're bored and want to meet someone interesting, ride a taxi. If you're lucky, you'd get a driver with character.

What can I say, I love the city. The traffic (not so much), the dirty ice cream on the street, the rude tambays on the kanto and the snotty sons and daughters of Greenbelt... aaah Manila!
