Queen Jadis, the ruler of the Kingdom of Charn, was most beautiful and powerful. She stood taller from the rest of the blue bloods. She expect much from her slaves. Her power was such that she could annihilate a world with a few spoken words.
But Jadis was greedy. She did not want to rule a kingdom. She wanted to rule the world. So she killed everyone who stood her way.
When Digory and Polly came to her world thousands of years later, Jadis was a statue, protected by enchantments and spells. The two kids regretted the minute they mistakenly freed her.
When Jadis was accidentally brought to the world of Narnia, she wasn’t hailed as the Queen. Instead, she was labeled as the "Witch," the source of all evil and unhappiness into an otherwise perfect world.
I have no sympathies for the Witch.
She can be burned at stake, buried alive, or be skinned to death for all I care. It’s a wonder how she became a Queen when there’s no sign of humanity in her. The way she treats people around her is deplorable.
The Old Crone should join her child in his GMRC classes. She might learn a thing or two about right manners. People like her make me sooo thankful to God for constantly reminding me of how I should NOT treat other people. And while I'm at it, can somebody wash her mouth with soap?
She’s an embarrassment to the Kingdom and to herself.
And no, fans of the “Chronicle,” I’m not just talking about Jadis here.

A note to ALL my friends who pass by my blog. “Please leave a message to my guestbook if your birthday is a week away. That way, I can remember your special day. Because I’m hopeless with dates, and if you won’t remind me, thenI won’t remember.”
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURICE!
