I’ve just had my most photographed Baguio trip ever.

It was a trip that almost did not happen with the number of people in our class who confirmed they were coming and then backed out the last minute. Even Sanshayn who has become my sort of permanent companion everywhere had to back out.

And then there were four…

Because it was Patrick’s first time in Baguio, we made sure that he had gotten to see every part of Baguio that’s worth seeing (at least the ones that are familiar to everyone who have been there).

And Tam-Awan Village.

We also tried to feed him with all the delicious food that Baguio had to offer. One that stuck to our mind is the Smoked Salmon Pizza of Volante.

Of course, I insisted that we eat at my usual hunts like Café by the Ruins and that carinderia place near Burnham Park. Pinikpikan always makes my stomach grumble.

But what made us camera whores the whole time we were there was the fact that Pat could extend his arms and point it at the perfect angle that could include every single one of us. Plus, we all looked good in every picture too.

So, we took lots and lots of photos of ourselves the whole time we were there.

We were even able to squeeze in some mirror project along the way.

I had time to bring them to Bayanihan, the Baguio ukay-ukay heaven. I found out that it’s not so bad shopping with a guy because they applaud your restraints. So I only took home four skirts, two shoes, and a bag—a far cry from my usual ukay fares.

I saw three lonely Kogepans in the Session Road and I thought they’d find a home in my room, so I bought them too.

As an added bonus to our trip we saw Pammy and Arvin exploring Baguio, too.

At the end of our trip, we all wanted to stay a little longer. But there are bills that needed to get paid and there are responsibilities that needed to be faced.
Being a grown up sucks!
