Thomasian Pledge
I am a Thomasian
I am heir to four centuries
Of scholastic excellence,
Vanguard learning
And visionary leadership
Animated by the spirit
Of St. Dominic
And fired by the ideal
Of St. Thomas Aquinas
To marry faith and reason.
As a child of a glorious institution
Founded and guided by Dominican friars,
I have been reared
In the tenets of Christian humanism,
Which makes me see others and myself
As bearers of God’s image,
And which moves me to strive
To work for a world
That manifests the magnificence
And magnanimity of God.
Toward this vision
I vow to apply the principles
I have learned from the University
In my chosen career
Taking care to discharge my duties
And responsibilities
In the best way possible I could,
Showing competence,
Commitment and conscience,
In the service of my fellow person,
Society and God.
As I leave with a heavy heart
The portals of my beloved University,
And with my mentors as witnesses
And the UST Cross as omnipresent
And inextinguishable inspiration,
I pledge today and always
To be a true Thomasian,
Ever loyal to my alma mater,
The University of Santo Tomas,
And to the ideals it stands for:
The ceaseless pursuit of the truth
And the selfless sharing of its fruits
in order to uplift the world
and emblazon it with the majesty of God.
I am a Thomasian
And will remain as one forever,
So help me God.

I am going to graduate! Yipeee! I’ll buy one of my panelist a black forest cake from Goldilocks for giving me a very good grade for my totally revised thesis!
While my other muddy panelist was expecting that I include him in our class picture taking… Ha! He wish! Never! He can shrivel and die this instant and I wouldn’t raise a finger to help him.

Queen Lada thank you for staying with me! I love you… By the way, I would like to suggest another song, how about “Push”?
I’m not crazy, I’m just a little unwell. I’m not crazy, I’m just a little impaired…
