The Tigers won by just one point over the NU Bulldogs.
I witnessed the excitement live in the Makati Coliseum. Wahoo!

I love my seatmates on the left side-Pammy and Leidy, because they totally rock. Leidy was UST’s unofficial screaming mascot, while Pammy was the official adlib cheerleader. Felice and Patwee were also cheering and standing most of the time. But they were too far away from me to know whether they were screaming like a banshee or just moderately shouting.
Half the time, I wanted to kill Gabby or make him sit as far away from me as possible. Not only was he not cheering with us, he was telling me to shut up because I was too loud, too hyper, and literally too jumpy. Grrrr…
Kathy and Lei were late.
My P.I.C. (Partner in Crime) was nowhere.

Gustong-gusto ko kapag may naliligaw na ibang estudyante from the rival school in our gallery. It’s my chance kasi to eavesdrop. In return I want them to eavesdrop. I want them to hear every insult I give to their school, players, and the school itself. Sportsmanship smortmanship. This is war!
I also want to listen to their school cheer. Tapos, pagtatawanan ko and again I’ll feel superior over them. Kasi mas maganda ang cheers namin, may variety pa.
Yun nga lang… sabay dasal na sana manalo, or else, I’ll put a brown paper bag over my head and run 80 mph out of the building.

I also like the drama. I welcome flying mineral bottles anytime, as long as they don’t come from our side. Kasi, if ever na magkarambol at mainterview ako sa TV, I could tell the reporter na “Sila kasi ang nanguna eh!” And then I’ll give my speech about them studying in a university yet they’re acting like a bunch of cro-magnons. So cheap ha!

Our team is made up of talented players. Unfortunately, players lang talaga sila. Hindi team. Nakakainis kasi if you know that you have the potential to become the champion kaya lang because of some player’s ego eh you don’t win.
