Arfie (my cousin) and I had fun guessing what’s inside Dondon’s presents. We sucked. We only guessed one right. And of course, our imaginations were better than what’s really inside the box.
“This is a magic wand.” I said while waving the long, thin gift.
Turned out it was a Tootsie Roll. Oh no! Dondon’s teeth will be ruined. Must save him.
I ate half of it.
“Ate, net ito para makahuli ng mga butterfly (This is a net to catch butterflies).”
It was a red Digimon bag.
“Ito, ito, damit laman nito (This are clothes).” Arfie said. While, I stared unbelieving at the long and oblong-shaped gift.
“Nope, this must be a marshmallow. A long and large marshmallow. Tingnan mo nga, kung damit ito eh di dapat ikinarton na lang(Look, if this are really clothes, then they could have used an ordinary box). “
He was right. They were shirts. The poster of the anime Slamdunk gave it a shape.

During the parlor games, my auntie asked the kids to sing “Happy Birthday” as loud as they can.
The poor kids sang like their tonsils will soon be torn out of their throats.
Grabe, ang hirap namang kumita ng lapis ngayon.

During the drunken moments of my life, I promoted my blog to my relatives and younger friends. Must remember to never do that again. Else, I’ll be haunted wherever I go.
A cousin of mine just told me that she read my blog. Shit. I wanted to die right there and then.
